Alchemy are an exciting, up and coming Indie rock band located in Derby – made up of five members, brothers Peter (Lead singer) and Phil (Bass), Ollie (Guitar), Tom (Guitar) and Brad (Drums). Alchemy formed in the summer of 2023, and released their debut single ‘Blessings’ on New Year’s Day of 2024. The track has since been played on radio shows such as BBC Introducing East Midlands, Erewash sound’s ‘WeAreYoung’ show and Future Hits ‘Unsigned’ and ‘Emerging in the Midlands’, even doing an interview and live acoustic performance on Erewash sound!

Alchemy pride themselves in being a band with a diverse sound, meaning that each track keeps the listeners engaged and wanting more. Having played at local venues such as ‘Blue Note’, ‘The Victoria Inn’, and ‘The Hairy Dog’, and further afield at ‘The Spice of Life’ in Soho, ‘Saltbox Bar’ in Nottingham and even headlining ‘The Washington’ in Sheffield. They are quickly attracting a fanbase and have brought in lively crowds who’ve constantly praised the band for their chemistry and tightness on stage.

The band continues to develop and focus their sound with their four other singles released in 2024, with the most recent two – River and Red Flame – being where the band sees themselves progressing to. With an exciting new merch line to boot, this band is making waves in their local music scene and beyond.
