MODERN INDIE ROCK FROM DERBYSHIRE

Alchemy are an exciting, up and coming Indie rock band located in Derby/Sheffield – made up of five members, brothers Peter and Phil Lamb , Ollie Rodenby , Tom Gilmour and Brad Annetts. Alchemy formed in the summer of 2023, and released their debut single ‘Blessings’ on New Year’s Day of 2024. The track has since been played on radio shows such as BBC Introducing East Midlands and numerous other local radio shows (such as ‘Erewash sound’ and ‘Spire Radio’). Since then, they have released a variety of new singles, including “Chains” which also made its BBC Radio debut in February of this year.

Alchemy pride themselves in being a band with a diverse sound, meaning that each track keeps the listeners engaged and wanting more. They also have an emphatic live sound, and have played at local venues such as ‘Blue Note’, ‘The Victoria Inn’, and ‘The Hairy Dog’ in Derby; as well as venues such as ‘Corporation’, ‘Sidney and Matilda’ and ‘The Washington’ in Sheffield. The band have branched out further afield by playing venues in Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham and London and are quickly attracting a fanbase, bringing along lively crowds who’ve constantly praised the band for their chemistry and tightness on stage.

The band continues to develop and focus their sound both in the studio and live, and are looking forward to more gigs this year and in the future to come.
